Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Jeremiah 17:7 KJV
No one said it would be easy. We are surrounded by conflict, sorrow, and evil every day, but know that whatever you are faced with, believe the word of God never changes. Stand on the word of God. There is hope.
Psalm 33: 18-22 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
In Lamentations, which is considered a song of sorrow, Jeremiah poured out his heart for a sinful people of Jerusalem that were taken into captivity by Babylon. But Jeremiah also knew God’s mercy and compassion and that God would use the torment and affliction to bring his people back to him. God didn’t forget about the people of Judah, Jeremiah 29: 10-11 KJV, For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:22-26 KJV.
The negative events currently swarming over our country right now and ready to devour our livelihood, may have you asking is there any kind of hope or end in sight? You see God is bigger than anything that is thrown at you. God will deliver you out of your storm(s) in due time. God can give you back everything the enemy takes from you and more.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 KJV.
